                                                                  Semester I

   Displacement Filter

This project was made using the displacement filter and various blending options. It is an easy and great looking way to make objects look like they're made from a different material.

Realistic Water Globe

Any fans of Skyrim? This video game based water globe was fun to make and was created using multiple layers and common Photoshop techniques.

   Pattern Project

This project is a surrealistic room in which everything is made from the same material; in this case I used a dark, rotted wood texture from the side of a barn. This required a more advanced use of the displace filter, and the final result was a neat and creative looking art piece.

 Wisconsin Globe

An extremely easy project that allows you to create a 3-Dimensional globe of your state. Uses the spherize filter, simple lighting effects, and only a few layers.

     Wilmot Book

This project involved me making a realistic book for my highschool. Yet again, it is a rather simple project and uses little more than some distorting options and embossing.

  Surrealism Project

This was a simple, easy, and fun project that allowed me to express my creativity, and frankly, let me create a bizarre oddity. This project involved using various Photoshop methods like the clone stamp tool, burn tool, and transform options.

 Cybergenic Animal

Arguably one of my favorite Photoshop projects, this cyber animal took several steps to complete, but I think the end result was awesome!

                               Semester II

Ice Frog

My depiction of a frog made of ice. This effect can be used on any object to make it appear like it's made of ice, and can be done so in a few easy steps.

Gryphon Landscape

My depiction of the landscape of a gryphon dwelling. This piece reveals two hunters stumbling into the fictional creatures' hide away. Their houses are constucted as elaborate bird nests would be, but are of unique hut designs that are far more complicated than mere bowl shapes. A formation resembling that of a gryphon's head juts out of the mountain lying in the background. The techniques used for this piece are not at all new, and only requires a basic understanding of blending, shadows, and image adjustments.

Triptych Project

This was a rather unsettling triptych piece I made depicting 3 emotions. The figures I used for this piece are based off some of the most notorious serial killers that have ever existed. From top to bottom they are:

John Wayne Gacy (Pogo the Clown)- Psychotic Pleasure

The Zodiac Killer- Psychotic Hostility

Jeffrey Dahmer- Psychotic Hunger

 Typography

An elaborate and spectacular looking typography piece I made depicting the guitar legend himself- Slash! This is typography, which means the picture is entirely created using just text. The four phrases I used for this project were:

Slash

Guns N' Roses

Sweet Child o' Mine

Velvet Revolver

 Swatches

  Swatches I made showcasing 6 different color schemes. Analogous, monochromatic, complimentary, triadic ( split 1 ), triadic ( split 2 ), and triadic ( split 3 ).

Infographic

I would like to apologize in advance for the small size of the text. There seems to be an issue when trying to upload the full image of this particular project, so some zooming might be required. This is an infographic I made about Geocaching, a fun outdoor treasure-hunting game. The information is presented as a screen on a Garmin handheld GPS, the same type of GPS you might use for this activity.

Partial Water Submersion

Simple project that creates the effect of something being submerged in water. I chose to use submerge a statue of Neptune for my project.

iSmall

The goal of this assignment was to portray what I would do if I stood only an inch tall. In this project I was not only shrunk, but I seemed to have been cloned as well! Fully aware of my devious nature, I decided that messing with someone was the best route to take for this project. As I toy with a gamer by pressing all of his controller's buttons, one of my "mini me's" holds up a sign that says lag, representing what the gamer believes he is experiencing.

Poetry Poster

Poster depicting a famous poem of my choice. Shows what dwells inside the imagination of a child.
